WHERE DO YOUR COFFEE BEANS COME FROM?
Brewhaha Roasters sources most of our green coffee beans from Café Imports, importers of fine specialty green coffees. Café Imports is a great partner that emphasizes building strong relationships with all involved in the coffee process, including farmers, millers, exporters, shippers, and roasters. OUR PREFERRED COFFEE GRINDERS
Almost any burr-type grinder. You are looking for a grinder that will grind the coffee in a uniform size. Some grinders will produce coffee grounds with large and small powder-like coffee grounds. Depending on how your brew your coffee, the size of the grounds is very important in preparation for your brew method. Burr grinders offer the most uniform grind. Here are a couple that won’t break the bank:
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR COFFEE?
We work hard to make sure the coffee you get was just roasted a couple of days ago so it’s as fresh as possible. The short answer is about 1 year, but read on for more details why. We recommend you store your coffee in a dark, dry place; like the packaging we send it to you in. Roasted coffee loses its freshness within a week, but stays drinkable for months if kept in a dark, dry place. NEVER PUT COFFEE IN A FRIDGE OR FREEZER, it will absorb any moisture and take on those interesting smells from your fridge or freezer.
ARE THE DESCRIPTIONS ON YOUR COFFEE BAGS ADDED FLAVORS?
We do not add anything but love to your coffee. The flavors describing our coffees are naturally occurring when they are roasted. Flavors come from the region, elevation, and soil where the coffee is grown. We bring those natural flavors to life by roasting and blending them. Please reach out to us if you have more questions about the coffee flavors or origins of our coffee; we love to talk coffee.
